Through the amazing response of CD and DVD sales, the first phase of work has been completed and the village of Mnase now has water. The main pump is now working as you can see from the first pictures we have received of the work in Tanzania.
After clearing land the village has also started work on building a medical unit. In the last 2 years the village has lost mothers and children in child birth, so, as you can imagine this will be another huge asset to the community. Money raised has provided wages for manual labour from surrounding villages and trucks to bring in sand. This work force will be making approximately 4000 bricks. After this there will be a rush on to get the building finished and a roof on the building before the seasonal rains hit this part of the country. We have just received these plans for the dispensary.
