This recording project from Aotearoa brings together the Maori people (the people of the land) and the pakeha (non-Maori New Zealanders) and captures something of the prophetic heart of New Zealand with her unique blend of ancient and new, culture and sound – so that ko tahi hau ora – with one breath, we can touch the heart of God together.

Great time hearing music from the nations. Spent time in NZ and loved it. Made many life long friends. Love the hospitality, the trails of NZ and the world’s best coffee & bake shops.
Fragile Warriors is very passionate, nice indig. sounds. Loved the music, keep it up.

Great to see that this is still available. This was one of the most satisfying projects I have worked on.
Thanks Larry, I have very fond memories of working with you. hope it won’t be too long before we can catch up down under.
Hi Martin
My names Siaosi. Im from NZ. I am a mate of CIndy Ruakere’s, Bruce McGrail’s. I also was mates with Bonnie’s son Nathan in the early 90s. This album you worked on (Fragile Warrior) resonates so strongly within me and many others. Alas, several years ago, we lost the copy we had and have wondered how to buy another copy ever since. As Im sure you can imagine, It has not been possible to procure another copy through the usual channels. Can you help? This album is a gift, it is genuine, fragile, courageous, and passionate. After not hearing E hia ana mai for 5 years or so, the tears streamed down my face as I clicked on the play icon on this page and the heart of God reminded me afresh, that the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity also dwells with those who are contrite and lowly of spirit… May God be Yours’, Bonnie’s, Leslie’s and all others involved in this powerful album – portion now and forevermore.
